Runwise Brand Refresh
Runwise has been making buildings smarter since 2012, and its story now needed an identity as advanced as the technology behind it. I overhauled the brand from the ground up, crafting a sharper logomark that nods to the original while giving every primary gradient its own distinctive shape and plenty of room to shine. The refreshed system prints cleanly at any scale and pairs modern color depth with a premium, future-focused look that mirrors Runwise’s smart-building vision.

Logomark with grid
Runwise’s 2012 logo had gradients that created muddy banding making everything from tradeshow banners to circuit-board labels a print nightmare. The logomark itself had ragged proportions and zero flexibility for tight spaces or social thumbnails. Together, the fragile color transitions and off-balance geometry stifled consistency, limited scalability, and failed to convey the premium polish of Runwise’s smart building tech. A modern system had to solve those pain points while honoring the equity of the original.

I re-engineered the identity to match Runwise’s 2025 evolution as a company. The logomark was redrawn on a precise grid, rebalancing proportions so it scales flawlessly from favicon to fleet van. Directional yet softened shapes now cradle each core gradient, eliminating color banding while preserving on-screen vibrancy. A modular system, flexible grid, and expanded palette unifies hardware, software, and marketing touchpoints. Every anatomical part of the refresh now projects the premium, future-focused spirit at the heart of Runwise’s smarter-building mission.
